With the caveat that I was never able to actually test this machine, I do think the fact that it arrived shattered, even though it appeared to be packaged reasonably well, says a lot about the poor quality and overall cheapness of the material. The price is right, but if the cheap plastic material can’t withhold shipping, it shouldn’t be sold online. The round, plastic part at the bottom of the machine arrived completely shattered. I was also not happy when I reported this to Amazon, and they simply went ahead and shipped me a replacement machine without my approval. I did not want a replacement shipment sent. I wanted a refund. The shipment is too heavy and too difficult to get upstairs, unpack and repack to risk going through this again. Now I have to spend time on a Sunday re-packaging this for UPS to pick up. I was not given the option of canceling the replacement order that was made for me (without my request) by someone at Amazon, so I will be refusing the second delivery, and I risk getting two charges for one item that arrived broken.

Make no mistake, this is a cheap piece of crap, as I suspected when I saw how small the box was. The horizontal braces are not just small, they are absurdly short. This is a design flaw–how much more would it have cost to make the bars a couple inches longer to keep the machine from swaying with every step? That the cheap plastic frame was cracked didn’t particularly bother me; more worrisome is that the steel is evidently of extremely poor quality. A bolt at least 7mm thick snapped right in half while I was tightening it. The only question now is whether it is worth the trouble to send back this piece of junk or somehow try to make use of it. I suppose I get some exercise by pulling the thing from side to side. You get what you pay for. I can’t imagine what the cheaper version is like.

The electronic functions are supposed to start when you start moving. They turn on when you touch still handle bars, but they don’t work! Doesn’t time you, clock ur speed, no heart rate shows…just turns on, that’s all. I’m only 5ft 1 in and the stride is too short and very uncomfortable. You find all this out after it’s assembled and it can’t be returned anymore. Do not recommend…waste of money.

I read the reviews, and buyer beware. The machine did indeed come broken. The box is the flimsiest i’ve seen – It had practically disintigrated by the time we got it. Sure enough, the base was cracked. We sent it back and decided to take our $200 and run. Dont know why this company would lose so much money on this thing- and not take the time to ship properly. Amazon was VERY helpful and sent UPS out right away to pick it up at no charge to us. Got our refund quickly as well.
Moral of the story here is : you’ve now heard the same story of poor quality from several people- so read between the lines!

I was looking for a substantial but reasonable price trainer. This one seem to fit the bill. It is heavy. However, when it arrived the side panel was cracked so I had to return it and wasn’t able to properly use it. It took about an hour to put together and it does seems like a fair piece of equipment for the price. However, I am opting out since it does take some time to put together and I do not want to gamble on another piece that might arrive broken. It was returned.
