Ok, so I received my elliptical today... My fiancée put it together for me in less than an hour. The machine itself is small which is great if you have space limitations... Ok, now on to the nitty gritty... The machine is compact so if you're tall, this may be too small. The stride is ok for me and I'm 5'3. Weight wise, on some sites, the machine is advertised as good for people who weigh 225, other sites say 200. I weigh 165 and the machine rocks from side to side. It's not very sturdy but then again, I have it on my carpet which could be the problem or maybe it's just no good for heavier folks. The other thing is that the foot pedals are pretty narrow and I find that the inside part of my ankle kept tapping the pedal (I wasn't wearing shoes so this might also be part of the problem). The monitor portion on mine doesn't work very well but it could be that it was damaged in transit (which I'll be contacting the supplier about). Despite what may appear to be a poor review, I can honestly say I like the machine and do not regret the purchase. It's nice and compact and it serves the purpose of getting some exercise in. Oh, and it does NOT squeak which seemed to have been a common complaint made about other ellipticals that I considered purchasing before I went with this one. Again, I only got this machine today but have already done two 30 minute workouts... Don't expect a fancy elliptical like what they have at the gym and you won't be disappointed. Overall, it's a good machine for the price... If it breaks down on me tomorrow, I'll be sure to update this review :-) Hope this helps!

The elliptical seems great. We didn't receive instruction manual either. I would think the company would want you to get the full benefit of their product; that is difficult without an instruction manual. If anyone has knowledge of the manufactor or contact info to request a manual, please share.

I purchased this trainer for $350 when it was a lighting deal. UPS dropped shipped the elliptical on my doorstep with no need for anyone to be home at the time of delivery (which is good because I work and am not able to be home). The box was quite large and weighed in the neighborhood of 130 pounds. The packaging was poor, but mine arrived with no visible damage. The elliptical was fairly easy to put together (some portions that are shown in the instructions are actually assembled at the factory). Overall it seems to be a fairly sturdy piece of equipment with a suggested maximum weight capacity of 250 pounds. Of course it's not as smooth as some of the higher end models, but for the price it appears to be a good deal.

My only real complaint so far is that the Amazon description indicates a 10 year frame warranty while the instructions indicate a 3 year frame warranty.

Also, it seems that some of these are shipped without instructions. I have gone ahead and scanned the instructions I received and they can be found at [...]

I also ordered this in January and it arrived with no instructions. I agree that it was fairly easy to assemble. I have had no luck in tracking down the manufacturer and obtaining instructions. Amazon provided me with contact information, but it's an international phone call and is a bank. oops. Other than that, the product works just fine - if only I knew what I was doing!

Mine arrived with instructions. It was pretty easy to assemble. It works well and doesn't make a lot of noise, though it's not silent. The stride length is not adjustable and neither are the handlebars, so if you're very tall or very short then this one might not work for you.

The unit is really heavy, so you should probably have a mat or something underneath it. Make sure you can dedicate a space to it, because it's not easy to move it around.

The power cord plugs into the front of the machine, which is a little awkward for my set-up. An extension cord solved the problem, but be aware that you may need one as the power cord that ships with it is rather short (about 1m).

If you want to have a computer that works, DON'T BUY THIS ONE. A QUALITY CONTROL DEPT. WOULD HAVE NOTICED THAT THE ONLY THING YOU GET ON THE COMPUTER IS; 8'S TO BEGIN WITH, ZERO'S AND A LETTER P, THAT'S ALL.
THE SET UP WAS OK, EXCEPT FOR THE BELT BEING BADLY SKEWED AND TOOK QUITE A BIT OF ADJUSTMENT (A QUALITY CONTROL DEPT. WOULD NOT LET THINGS LIKE THIS BE SHIPPED.

I purchased sets of 3, 5, 8, 10, and 12 pounds to go with the heavier Intek Rubber Dumbells I have at my training center. These have a great professional look and feel.

Maybe I just got "lucky", but my 15# weight set is coated with a black greasy substance that comes off on my carpet and hands, even after hosing them off in the backyard. I have these weights sitting on a piece of cardboard in my weight room for now until I can figure out how to remove this black stuff from them. Took a star off for that, but otherwise are excellent dumbbells.

I was very impressed with the quality of these weights when I received them. They are very much like the ones I use at the gym and the grip fits in my hand well without slipping. I decided to purchase these weights (a 5 lb set and an 8 lb set) because they qualified for the super saver shipping on Amazon and ended up costing the same price as cheaper weights with shipping charges. So far I am very happy with my purchase.
