I bought this jump rope at TJ Maxx for about $6. The price wasnt bad, but the rope broke on me in 3 weeks. i would buy a real speed rope or something different

I bought this rope based on Ross' recommendation because I wanted to use jumping rope as a conditioning tool and the ability to increase the speed is very important (the rope is quite light, allowing you to swing it very fast, which is more difficult to do for a leather rope or one with weighted handles).

I bought this for $4.03 at a local store. Worth every penny because it does what it's suppose to do. I'm an advanced rope skipper for mma training and conditioning purposes. Goes fast enough for working on my footwork and I've only used the rope once. I did 50+ double under's in a row with this rope. If you tie knots which I'm 5'8" the rope will not tangle when doing cross and X jumping.
