I bought two ropes at the same time. I use them both. The other one is the classic leather boxers jump rope. The beaded rope is nice. It’s has a little bit of heft to it and spins nicely. It works your arms a little bit and does not easily snag and stop if you brush a shoe with it. I use the leather rope for a faster spin, but it stops if it gets anywhere near a shoe. The beaded rope is probably my favorite though. It looks good and it feels good when I’m using it. If you’re looking for a solid rope with a little substance to it, this is a good one.

  • I have gotten so frustrated trying to find a good jump rope. I took a chance on this beaded rope and I regret it. The one I received looked old and used. The most confusing part is that I am 5’6″ and I was tripping over a 9 foot rope! I lengthened it a little and it just felt very awkward and wobbly. The search continues!

  • I am happy with my purchase of this beaded jump rope. It is heavy enough to do cross-overs and it never gets twisted. It is made well. I know it will hold up for a long time.

  • It’s a beaded jump rope.

    Pros:

    High quality.

The beads are nice and handles are comfortable.

Better than most other beaded jump ropes I’ve used.

    Cons:

The caps in the handle fall out easily. Nothing breaks your concentration while jumping like pieces falling off your jump rope.

I am 6’1 and have long arms. This jump rope is just a little short for me. It’s easy enough to lengthen but I wish they would include a few extra beads or make it longer by default.

Overall, this is a very nice jump rope. The length issue and cap problem can easily be fixed. I’m just being very critical. If you are looking for a beaded jump rope, you won’t be disappointed with this one.

  • This is an excellent jump rope. The beads are shaped a little differently and provide very uniform weight distribution. For a beaded rope, you can go really fast. Another nice feature is that the nylon string is stretchy, which makes it easier to adjust than a non-stretch string. You can achieve just the right length which provides the best weight distribution. I will point out that this rope is heavier than most beaded ropes (11 oz), so it might take a while to adjust to this. I am very satisfied.

I am a 62 year old male with type II diabetes. I have been having a problem with my blood sugar levels. I am allegic to the medications that I was given and I don’t like taking pills anyway. I stay on a diet but that is not enough. I need to have a demanding cardio workout. I have been going to the local county park to walk but I must walk for an hour and half non-stop to make somekind of improvement in my glucose levels. Walking is great but its time consuming and I’m tired of having to deal with people’s dogs, cyclists, and rainy weather.

I decided to purchase the Body Trac Glider 1050 in hopes that it would help with my diabetes. I have limited finances so I really hoped that I made a good choice.

The Body Trac Glider 1050 arrived yesterday afternoon. It was quite easy to assemble and, even in our small home, I will be able to store it.

Let’s cut to the chase. This product is GREAT!! I used it twice yesterday afternoon for a total of 17 minutes. I checked my glucose much later and found it was down just as low as if I had walked for a hour and a half. What’s more, you get a whole body, low impact workout with the Glider 1050. I like the meter – I can easily see how long I have be working out.

I used the Body Trac Glider 1050 for about 5 minutes last night. This morning my glucose is lower that it has ever been in the morning. I also must mention that I stay on a diet as I want to lose weight also.

This machine is well made, well worth the money, and is my life saver!!

Product arrived scratched and cracked. It wouldn’t start. The individuals at the phone number, at the service center, would not assist me, even holding for over 25 minutes. I’ve paid for this piece of equipment and it will continue to gather dust remaining inoperative. I’VE BEEN HAD!

  • First Degree Fitness WR-P Pacific Rower
Was easy to assemble and is easy to use. The sound of water makes me think I am on the lake and the resistance gets harder the more I push. I love this rower and it gives me a great workout. It takes a lot normally to make me sweat and make my muscles ache, and the Pacific Rower did it!
